BAGUIO CITY – The inaugural outreach event of the Women of Global Change Philippine Chapter recently marked a significant milestone as they successfully executed their Project LUV (Light Up the Villages) initiative.

Project LUV, dedicated to fostering positive change through the provision of solar lights, underscores a commitment to environmental sustainability and community empowerment.

On January 24, the organization orchestrated the distribution of 14 solar light kits alongside essential groceries to selected beneficiaries in Brgy Happy Hallow, Baguio City.

This act of generosity illuminated not just homes but also the spirits of those in need within the community.

Following this impactful distribution, the organization hosted a Circular Economy Workshop on January 25, emphasizing sustainable practices and community engagement.

This educational endeavor aimed to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment while promoting economic resilience within the community.

The success of these endeavors owes much to the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders.

The Women of Global Change express their gratitude to the Local Government of Baguio City, particularly the Barangay, for their unwavering support.

Special recognition is extended to Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan and the Office of the City IPMR for their invaluable assistance in realizing these initiatives.

Furthermore, the generous contributions from Onjon Ni Ivadoy Association, Inc. played a pivotal role in enabling the organization to fulfill its mission.

The Women of Global Change embodies a network of leaders and entrepreneurs committed to making a difference in global business, fostering camaraderie, and serving communities.

Their active involvement in social impact initiatives, coupled with collaborative efforts on educational platforms and humanitarian projects, exemplifies their dedication to effecting positive change worldwide.
