MANILA, Philippines – In collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the offices of Senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano provided livelihood assistance to 800 beneficiaries in the municipalities of Conner, Apayao, and Solana, Cagayan, on August 22, 2024.
The aid, given under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program, benefited senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), farmers, and women.
Former Congresswoman Carol Lopez of the LUNAS Partylist helped facilitate the distribution in both provinces.
