BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) arrested four Regional Top Most Wanted Persons, including suspects in rape and large-scale illegal recruitment, during its intensified Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations from September 14 to 20, 2025.
Authorities identified the suspects as the 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th Regional Top Most Wanted Persons, all considered High Value Individuals.
Their capture marks one of the most significant accomplishments of BCPO’s recent operations.
In the same week, two City-Level Top Most Wanted Persons facing drug charges under Republic Act 9165 were apprehended.
Police also arrested 14 other wanted individuals for various crimes and seized suspected shabu in separate operations against two drug suspects.
BCPO City Director PCOL Ruel D. Tagel said the results demonstrate the unit’s commitment to the priority agenda of Acting PNP Chief PLTGEN Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., which emphasizes strengthening police operations and sustaining the campaign against illegal drugs and criminality.
“These efforts are not only aimed at holding offenders accountable but also at protecting the community’s way of life,” Tagel said, assuring residents that police operations will continue to adapt to keep Baguio safe.
