BAGUIO CITY – The City Council recently passed Resolution No. 37, Series of 2024, granting Mayor Benjamin Magalong the authority to accept a generous donation from Victory Liner Inc.
The esteemed company, recognized for its commitment to community development, has offered to donate a Hyundai bus to the Baguio City Government.
To formalize this act of generosity and express gratitude, a deed of donation will be signed between the city government and Victory Liner Inc., represented by its President and General Manager, Marivic del Pilar.
The Committee on Laws, Human Rights, and Justice, through its 3rd Indorsement dated January 18, 2024, recommended the adoption of this resolution to facilitate the transfer of ownership.
The resolution emphasizes that the city government will assess the condition of the donated bus before acceptance to minimize future expenses on vehicle repairs and maintenance.
