PROCOR's achievements in focus at Cordillera Peace and Order Council meeting

Peredo, Jr. graces the third quarter 2023 Cordillera Regional Peace and Order Council (CRPOC) Meeting with esteemed guests including Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr., held at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City on July 14, 2023. BAGUIO CITY PROCOR Regional Director, David K. Peredo, Jr., participated in the Cordillera Regional Peace and Order Council (CRPOC) Meeting for the 3rd Quarter of CY 2023 on July 14, 2023, held at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City.
 
The meeting aimed to foster collaboration among government agencies in addressing peace and development concerns in the region.
 

The CRPOC meeting was jointly chaired by Department of Interior and Local Government Cordillera (DILG-CAR) director Araceli San Jose, and attended by distinguished guests including National Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr.AFP Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) commander Fernyl Buca; Philippine Army 5th Infantry Division (ID) commander Audrey L. PasiaKalinga governor James Edubba; Ifugao governor Jerry Dalipog; Regional Operations Division (ROD) chief James Mangili; and Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) chief Byron Tegui-in.

During the meeting, PBGEN Peredo delivered a presentation highlighting the significant achievements of PROCOR in law enforcement operations, anti-criminality efforts, and the overall peace and order situation in the region.

In his address, Peredo assured the public of PROCOR’s commitment to intensify Enhanced Managing Police Operation and Simultaneous Anti Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) in order to reduce crime incidents and enhance cooperation with other Law Enforcement Agencies and the local community.

These measures aim to ensure lasting peace and order in the region.

Furthermore, as a significant highlight of the program, RD San Jose then proceeded to present the rebel returnees along with the surrendered firearms to Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr.

The event culminated with a solemn oath of allegiance taken by the former rebels, symbolizing their commitment to peace and unity.
